By Spring, 2026 NEOS member libraries will all be in separate systems.
Current NorQuest students and staff will automatically have library accounts at NorQuest Library, but not at other NEOS libraries. Students and staff who wish to borrow directly from other NEOS libraries will need to sign up for an account at each library they wish to borrow directly from.
Items from NEOS member libraries' collections will not appear in OneSearch. It will no longer be possible for NorQuest students and staff to place holds on NEOS member library items directly from OneSearch.
Items will be subject to regular loan periods, but not recalls.
The default $150 fee for lost items from the NorQuest Library collection will no longer be applied to NorQuest student and staff library. Lost and damaged items will result in a fee that reflects the true cost of the lost or damaged item. Fines policies at NEOS member libraries may vary.
